Board Meetings & Committees
The Shell Rock River Watershed District Board of Managers normally meet the second Tuesday of each month at 8:30 a.m. in our office at 305 S. 1st Avenue, Albert Lea, MN 56007. Meeting dates in 2026 include: January 13, February 10, March 10, April 14, May 12, June 9, July 14, August 11, September 8, October 13, November 10, and December 8. Meetings may be streamed live via Facebook.
Board meeting packets are emailed. Please contact the Administrative Assistant to be added to the distribution list. Agendas, minutes, and video recordings can also be found below and on our YouTube channel.
A volunteer Citizen Advisory Committee (CAC) was established in 2003 to make recommendations to the SRRWD Board on matters affecting the interests of the watershed. To do this, the CAC identifies water resource issues of concern, generates new project ideas, reviews watershed plans, and serves as a communication link between the SRRWD and the community.
Unless otherwise noted, the Citizen Advisory Committee meetings coincide with the Albert Lea Lakes Foundation meetings.
