White Lake

White (Chapeau) Lake has a surface area of 158 acres and has a maximum depth of 3.5 feet. White has a relatively small upper watershed and flows into Fountain Lake by a small stream. White is one of the District’s largest lakes that is surrounded by private property and is only accessible by a small walking path. White, like other lakes in the District, has an electric fish barrier located at the outlet to protect it from new aquatic invasive species. Unlike Pickerel Lake, this lake has not received a lake reclamation.
