NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received until 4:00 P.M. on the 27th day of September 2018 by the Shell Rock River Watershed District (SRRWD) at 214 West Main St, Albert Lea, MN 56007, for the disposal of 5,730 cubic yards of surplus black dirt from constructing the berms at the Confined Disposal Facility (CDF).  SRRWD owns real property located at 23515 740^th, City of Albert Lea, County of Freeborn, State of Minnesota upon which black dirt pile sits.  The bid is for a designated Pile of dirt consisting of approximately 5,730 cubic yards or 5 years of exclusive right to Pile, whichever comes first.  A map is attached to the form Exclusive Material Agreement.  Bids are for lump sum.  Bidder must agree to all terms and conditions set forth in the form Exclusive Material Agreement available for review at SRRWD office.

Facsimile or electronic transmissions will not be accepted.  Any bids received after the date and time listed above will be returned and will not be considered.  Said bids will be opened by the SRRWD at their office 214 West Main St. Albert Lea, MN at 4:00 P.M on the 27th of September 2018.  Bid will be awarded to the highest, responsive, responsible bidder.  Bid will be awarded on the 9^th day of October, 2018.  The SRRWD reserves the right to reject any or all Bids.

 

All bids must be addressed to the Administrator - Shell Rock River Watershed District Albert Lea, Minnesota and shall have endorsed thereon, “Proposal for Confined Disposal Facility Dirt Pile, Freeborn County, Minnesota”.
